“Looks Like We Made It”

The Reunion Committee welcomes our classmates to the CHS Class of 1969 40-year reunion.  And yes, we’re also having trouble believing it’s been 40 years.  But the years do go by, don’t they?  However, we’ve found that it only takes a few ‘69 classmates sitting around a table planning a party -- talking about old times -- and 1969 doesn’t seem all that far behind us. 

The party plans are well underway for a reunion dinner on Saturday, July 25, 2009.  We’ll have a nice catered meal and a great night of music at Muskogee’s “Frisco Depot” which houses the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame.  For those who are interested, we will also have a “reunion kick-off” Friday evening at Max’s Garage. 

We hope you’ll make plans to join us this summer.  We want this to be the best reunion yet.  The Class of ’69 is fortunate to have our same high school band, The House, play for us once again.  The Depot has a great dance floor for those who want to dance.  Whether you listen from the dance floor or the dinner table, the old songs will bring back the memories.   

At every planning meeting -- not just for this reunion but also those that came before -- the absolute best part has always been the stories shared around the table.  We can’t get everyone around that table.  But this year with our website, we have plenty of room for everyone’s story.  Please take a moment and add yours.

New Plans!!!   We'll have an early lunch out at Honor Heights Park.  Bring your family, or just come join the fun!   Please let us know when you register for the reunion how many people will attend the picnic.
