Thank you to those generous alumni who have put so much time and effort in making the 40th reunion possible. Planning a "get-together" like this is such a big task. I am looking forward to seeing great friends and reflecting on happy times. I live in Norman and for most of the year I teach 9th grade College Prep English and advise the student newspaper. I guess I really never left high school. Not a day goes by that I don't smile and shake my head in awe at what I see adolescents do. They really haven't invented anything new; they just call it something different. The memories they are creating remind me of the crazy ideas and deeds of the late 1960s. I quit asking myself long ago if I was as goofy as the students I teach; because "Yeah! I probably was!"
