The best part of life so far has been my 4 children and 5 grandchildren. They're great, but I'm sure the best is yet to come! Life's had its twists and turns but I seem to hang on and come up smiling! There's a line from one of my favorite movies, The Big Chill, that pretty well sums up the past 40 years for me. I chose to "experience life through a seemingly random series of occupations"! Right now I have a new job, just bought my own home, my car is paid for and gets 34 miles a gallon! Life's definitely on the upswing! A little bit older and a whole lot wiser!
I'm looking forward to seeing so many of the people who shared my teenage years. There are a few of you that I count among my greatest blessings. The people of the class of 1969 were molded during a very special time in history. Some of our classmates were the last generation to attend a one-room schoolhouse! We came of age in a time of so many changes in American society. And like it says on the homepage of this web site~~Looks like we made it!
I hope we have a great turnout at this 40 year reunion. For anyone who's not seen inside the Frisco Depot, you're in for a treat! Time marches on and takes its toll on all of us, so let's get together while we're still in our prime! See you there!
